Laguna pottery
Laguna Pueblo is located 42 miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico. From Laguna Pueblo are descendants of refugees from the nearby Pueblos of Zia, Jemez, Sandia, Cochiti and Santo Domingo who fled from the Spanish conquerors at the end of 1600 this. Pottery manufactured in Laguna Acoma pottery similar to but slightly thicker, has been bolder geometric patterns and angry with sand from the old pottery sherds. By 1960 almost no good pottery made in Laguna Cheromiah to Evelyn and his family started making pottery back in the Laguna good again. Since the 1970s, fine china is once again being done in Laguna Pueblo.
